COMPOSITE WOOD PANELS: GREEN BY NATURE!
By their very nature, composite wood panels are among the greenest building materials available to consumers. They are produced from pre- and post- consumer recycled wood and wood residuals that would otherwise be wasted or end up in landfills, making exceptional use of our valuable wood resources.
The composite panels used by ECO-NIZE Closets® (we call them ECOCLOSETS®) is a specified green composite panel. It is EPP Certified to be 100% recycled or recovered wood or wood fiber. The MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) which is used on our doors, crown molding and sometimes on our base molding is SCS Certified.
Our ECOCLOSETS® combine low emission standards, certified recycled content and sustainable raw materials, with the reliability and proven industry track record of wood-based particleboard.
We are proud to say that ECO-NIZE® Closets is one of the first closet companies in the U.S. to become listed in the Greenspec® directory which lists products that are in the top 5-10% of environmentally preferable products.
